Responsibilities

You will:

  • Interface with product management and drive team to meet feature roadmap.
  • Set the end-to-end architecture (Expo / EAS + Supabase + Drizzle) and technical roadmap.
  • Define coding standards, modules, and tooling that speed teams up (CI/CD, IaC / ORM, AI tooling).
  • Drive reliability and security standards (SLOs, basic guardrails) without slowing delivery.
  • Partner with product to sequence work; mentor engineers; lead design reviews.
  • Watch cost/perf and make pragmatic build-vs-buy calls.

Qualifications

Requirements: 6+ years building cloud products; strong TypeScript/Node and Postgres fundamentals; proven tech-lead experience guiding teams on serverless stacks.

  • multi-cloud expert (meaning that if a candidate has only one cloud experience, it may be a bottleneck as client may be considering migrations and they need to have wider view). AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience with EAS (Expo Application Services) is a must (it should not be an issue)
  • Vercel experience is a huge plus, but it should not be a big issue, as this platform is relatively straightforward. Still, it will be a huge plus
  • Any experience with Digital Ocean will be beneficial
  • All other aspects mentioned in JD: hands-on with TypeScript, NodeJS, React Native, data layer, security, DevOps and SecOs.
  • The candidate will be leading the team, he won't be just an individual contributor.
