Job Summary:

  • Technical Proficiency:Maintain deep technology expertise and demonstrate the technical acumen required to deliver world-class products and solutions for the human services space.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Be an effective software engineer across the whole cycle from envisioning and developing features all the way to stabilizing and releasing them.
  • Be a team player who works well in a collaborative environment with test and product/project management.
  • Be a key driver of features, modules, and platforms and have ownership of several software components. 
  • Work with clients, partners, and internal resources to deliver functionality, documentation, and specification materials.
  • Drive forward the platforms and ease-of-use for end users, internal teams, and other developers.
  • Participate in technical design, managing and building new relationships with internal and external customers and great team spirit.
  • Make use of exceptional customer service and critical thinking skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and operate as a key resource within the engineering team.
  • Be an expert in specific feature areas and aspects of our technology stack  
  • Able to work independently on individual bug fixes and feature development and complete work in a timely manner with minimal guidance.  
  • Mentor and work with Co-Ops as needed
  • Strategically solution and drive conversations when building new features with guidance
  • Able to juggle multiple tactical priorities with minimal guidance.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with full stack C# .NET development and a willingness to learn new technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with front end development with JavaScript.  
  • 3+ years of experience with relational databases and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modeling is required
  • Backend development experience with REST APIs  
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design and some experience with design patterns and
    SOLID/DRY principles
  • Experience working in full iterative/Agile development environment
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity environment 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Cloud development in AWS or Azure
  • Experience with React, Vue or other JavaScript framework/libraries is a plus!
  • Classic ASP/VB Script experience
