We’re looking for a detail-oriented Enterprise Billing Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day billing operations—ensuring our customers are invoiced accurately and on time.
You must be comfortable handling complex billing scenarios, and need to be analytical, detail‑oriented, a strong problem solver, and comfortable interpreting contract language. You should also be an effective communicator, able to work independently, and adaptable to different client SOPs and data sources.
Must have familiarity with billing systems, reporting tools, and structured processes. You’ll work closely with the sales, customer success, and finance teams to manage subscriptions, process payments, and resolve billing issues efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
● Manage and maintain subscription billing through Chargebee
● Investigate and verify customer billing details across systems (e.g.,Chargebee, HubSpot, Excel) to ensure invoices are accurate and aligned with contractual terms
● Reconcile payments, identify discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding balances
● Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure correct customer information in HubSpot
● Handle customer inquiries related to billing, credits, and refunds with professionalism and clarity
● Monitor subscription changes such as upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and renewals
● Prepare billing-related reports and analyses using Excel
● Assist with month-end close activities and audit support as needed
● Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline billing workflows
Skills and Qualifications
● Proven experience in accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
● Experience with SaaS company, preferred
● Experience with Hubspot and Chargebee, preferred or equivalent CRM/Revenue systems
● Must have at least 2-3 year of Excel experience
● Must have at least 3-5 year of customer service experience
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
● Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
● Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
● Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
● Must have pleasant phone voice, strong computer skills, familiar with electronic record keeping and clean background
● Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
● Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining customer confidentiality.
