Overview

Role Overview

This role focuses on the "heavy lifting"—writing the NodeJS logic using Typescript that interacts with GCP APIs at scale, managing the containerized environment, and ensuring our infrastructure is version-controlled via Terraform.

 

You will be responsible for the nightly extraction processes that pull environment data from a diverse array of client GCP projects into our central BigQuery warehouse. This is a role for an engineer who loves working with APIs, cloud architecture, and automated deployments.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Node.js: Expertise in building enterprise-grade backend services and batch processing.
  • Typescript: Expertise in SOLID principles and building production ready Typescript.
  • GCP Ecosystem: Deep familiarity with GCP APIs (e.g., Cloud Asset API, Billing API, Resource Manager, Cloud Run Jobs, Cloud Run Functions, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Scheduler, gcloud CLI).
  • Terraform: Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure through IaC.
  • Docker: Experience containerizing Node.js applications for production cloud environments.
  • PostgreSQL: Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries
  • BigQuery: Understanding of how to structure and load data into BigQuery for downstream consumption.
  • Security: Familiarity with GCP IAM roles and service account management for secure multi-tenant data access.
