We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to be the operational backbone of our AWS-based SaaS platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our modern infrastructure, which supports a React frontend, a Symfony API, and Python-based AI-driven serverless workflows. You will work closely with our Engineering, Security, and Product teams to enable fast, safe, and automated delivery.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Cloud Infrastructure & Operations: Design, deploy, and maintain robust AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) across production and non-production environments. Focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization.

• CI/CD & Automation: Build and manage comprehensive CI/CD pipelines for our React frontend, Symfony API backend, and Python serverless functions. Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and improve deployment speed and reliability.

• Platform Support: Provide L2/L3 support for the application stack, including containerized APIs, front-end delivery via CloudFront/S3, and AWS Lambda workloads. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, latency, and failure issues.

• Data Reliability: Operate and maintain production MySQL environments (AWS RDS), focusing on backups, performance tuning, replication, and secure data access. Support specialized data platforms, including vector databases like Weaviate, for AI workflows.

• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce AWS security best practices (e.g., IAM least privilege, network segmentation, encryption). Support security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and collaboration on compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001).

• Monitoring & Reliability: Establish and maintain centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). Lead incident response and post-incident root cause analysis (RCA) to continuously improve operational maturity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong operational experience managing production workloads in AWS.
• Proficiency in supporting multi-technology stacks: React, PHP/Symfony, and Python-based serverless (AWS Lambda).
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipelines).
• Hands-on experience with MySQL operation in production environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and fundamental networking concepts.
• Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (GCP, Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes).
• Experience operating AI/ML data infrastructure or vector databases (e.g., Weaviate).
• Knowledge of security frameworks and audit processes (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Prior experience supporting high-traffic SaaS platforms serving enterprise customers.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.

**Candidate must be open for Project Based/Contract work to prove capability and fit with client teams. Then will move to full time role.
